" You are Not Forgotten -
We will never forget "

I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

Melinda Sue Pacho

This project is in tribute to those left behind and to offer support to those of you who have lost a loved one to terrorism as in 9-11 , or in this war against terrorism as in the countless warriors in the United States and our allies, making sure 9-11 never happens again. We will never forget....you are not forgotten.

No one can claim to understand your pain or begin to feel your grief when your hero and loved one passes...but we do want to reach out and offer our thanks for your sacrifice and offer support in smaller ways.

Special Guestbook - United in Tears

Please honor us by signing the guestbook below and sharing your thoughts and perhaps a little about your hero in a few sentences...

This guestbook is for the families and loved ones of the fallen, and anyone who wishes to offer some sympathy and a few words of comfort. Your loved ones will never be numbers here...they are each and every one of them- precious souls whose passing is a loss to you first, but to all of us as well in this world.

If you need help or wish to share your sorrow in private rather than just a short entry in a  guestbook below or perhaps you just need some resources to explore in coping during this sad time , please email us at

ReachingOut@HomefrontHugs.com.

You can rely on the strictest confidentiality as your email will only be read by a trained  family therapist who happens also to be the founder of this organization.

Please know you are not alone.

"It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had."

~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

My husband was a very dear, unselfish man. The last time he was seen in Tower 2 was on the 44th floor trying to shove people on the elevators to get them out of the building when it came crashing down. That is the story that my children and I will live with, since it sounds like something that Michael would do. In 1993 he and three co-workers carried a pregnant woman down 95 flights of Tower 2 ...(trimmed)
